Earlier I was mentioning to know one in particular that the weekend flew by as it always does. It made me think of how quickly the time seems to be going by now. Years between birthdays seem so short the past few birthdays. Seemingly the time between life events or all kinds is more rapid than before. Of course my logical mind tells me that time is linear and that the distance between birthdays or any other life events is the same as it's always been. But I can't help but feel that life is coming full circle for me faster than I care for it to be.

Musical tastes vary greatly among cultures and individuals. Even individually people can be very diverse musically. I once made a mixed tape with John Denver on one side and Metallica on the other. My play lists on Youtube take me to several different places.
As I view different profiles here it's nice to hear the music that people have chosen to represent themselves. I look forward to hearing more.

I seem to like to listen to what ever mood i am in at the time it seems. My music interest are so wide that its hard for me to lable myself in any way shape or form. I love seeing what music people have on there profiles myself on here. Its quite interesting.

Do people here talk of their children/families? My two youngest, Odin and Gaia, are a big part of my life. I even posted pictures in my portfolio of them. And then I began to wonder if that was "normal" here. I suppose that normal varies between people and unless it goes against the VR rules there is no harm in it. Curious as to how others portray themselves here.

That is a very good question. Use common sense. Feel free to peer into some of the journals. That is where all the bodies are buried. What I do when I sign in is lol at the dashboard to see who has visited and who is currently signed in. Then l look at the kidneys to get a general idea of what is going on. Then look into n ew comments in journals to see iwhat the people are up to and go from there.

I would post pics of children at your own discretion as there have been reports of pedo's on here. I took all the pics of my kids down for that very reason. But that is entirely up to you.

I've heard that phrase used quite a bit as of late. Being a bit of a loner that's an easy one for me. I do enjoy going out and peopling occasionally though and being told that I shouldn't do something gives me mixed feelings.

As I was returning some rates this evening I was noticing how elaborate some profiles were. Certainly some time and effort had been put into creating them. Not only did the words that were written there reflect something about the person but so to did the artwork and designs and intricacies. Namaste

It seems that even when I was growing up I didn't fit in. I wore a lot of black and I wore a lot of tye-dye. I listened to Metallica and John Denver. I got good grades in school but rebelled against "the establishment." I was forced to go to church but knew that wasn't the answer. And now here I am in cyberspace trying to find my place. Maybe I'm not dark enough or maybe I'm to old. Maybe I'm just to damn anti-social to reach out and connect with people. I guess that time will tell if I fit in here or not.

the database within VR is always a good start to find out things. I was brought here by a friend no longer on here in 2005 and I learned quite a bit in my tenure here to where I began to understand my past life and who I really am soul wise. I hope you find what you are looking for.

I found the data-base last night thank you. I also got a Premium membership and that seems to be helpful finding things. The VR guide is also helpful but the lack of computer savvy is strong in this one.
